Freescale’s SigmaTel TV Audio Processor offers the most integrated and highest feature solution for TV Audio. This processor is ideal for advanced TVs including LCD, Plasma and all HDTV designs. By reducing over 35 functions into one IC, cost and board space are greatly reduced. This processor handles all audio inputs including analog (10 inputs), HDMI and S/PDIF. Additionally, this IC demodulates all stereo broadcast standards including BTSC, PAL, A2, EIAJ and NICAM and has been field tested in over 35 countries for robust operation under all broadcast situations. The processor handles all audio processing including volume, tone and advanced surround algorithms. All signals can be routed in either analog (2V SCART) or digital. Digital I/O is full 24-bit. These TV Audio Processors are the most advanced on the market and greatly simplify TV designs while increasing audio output quality.
