At SigmaTel, your job is more than just another day at the office.

SigmaTel supports the development of key talent for the future in many ways, one of which is by partnering with local colleges and universities to provide internships, co-op terms, and full-time job opportunities for new graduates.

As a student or new grad at SigmaTel, you’ll quickly find yourself working on some of the newest technology out there, and with some of the best and brightest people in the industry. Across the organization, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and interact with employees at all levels, and work on challenging assignments directly tied to new products.

At our “home” in Austin, Texas, we partner with the University of Texas at Austin, and other local schools, to bring on some of the best talent in the U.S. Our summer interns usually have a hard time leaving at the end of the summer and end up working part-time through the school year. Not bad if you’re needing a little money for tuition and wanting to apply your coursework firsthand. Many of our interns have been with us for several years and, more often than not, end up joining us full-time upon graduation.

For those in the Boston area, our Waltham, MA, office has developed strong partnerships with WPI, Northeastern, and many other local schools to bring on interns, several co-op students, and even new graduates.

Our University program isn’t just a US-based program. Our design center in Shenzhen, China, has partnered with several major universities across China, with some of the most robust engineering programs available, and provides opportunities for new graduates to join the team.
